WOW what a band!! So glad I decided to go along on a Tuesday night. Well worth the lack of sleep for work today. One of the loudest bands I've ever heard, and Dave sounds amazing live!! Just before Foo Fighters came out I decided to join my friends in section 136, but got bumped about a minute into Everlong. I got so lucky and within a minute I found a spot in the handicap section at top of section 101. The sound was epic and I had a very cool crowd in front of me, aisle behind me. A few close clappers here and there, but otherwise zero distractions. I did no editing other than normalize to 95% and tracking. Crank it up!!

Note: During band introductions, the audience and the band sang happy birthday to Chris Shiflett's son, Liam, and Taylor Hawkins led a round of "Day O."

Dave Grohl - vocals, guitar
Taylor Hawkins - drums, vocals
Nate Mendel - bass
Chris Shiflett - guitar, vocals
Pat Smear - guitar
Rami Jaffee - keyboards

24. Best of You

This was an awesome show, and as it always is with the Foo Fighters, very high energy even with Dave sitting down
the whole show due to his broken leg. It was a last minute decision to drive the two and a half hours to this show,
and I was able to snag a lawn ticket pretty cheap. I slowly moved forward a little during the show, eventually making
my way toward the front of the lawn. Unfortunately during Breakout a drunk lady danced her way into me, knocking me
into the guy next to me, who took that to mean MOSH PIT. I suddenly found myself in the middle of an impromptu mosh
pit and my mics came unplugged, and my Zoom recorder hit the ground. It took me a few minutes to pick myself and
my gear up off the ground and resume recording. Other than that, it's a decent capture of an awesome show. No eq done,
just a little volume boost.
